It was a picture-perfect day for flying in Grand Rapids. With no air traffic and still skies, I had the ideal conditions to get some fantastic drone shots. I maneuvered my drone around different sides of the city to capture the visuals I needed. I was also in town that night for other business, so I took the opportunity to gather some extra drone b-roll for an ongoing project.
Returning to Grand Rapids, a city where I grew professionally, made this shoot particularly special. One lesson I’ve learned from flying my drone is that if you’re going to go for it, you might as well go all the way. The results were worth every bit of effort, capturing the city’s beauty from angles that truly showcase its charm.
