I got excited when I was presented with the opportunity to out-do last years athletics sponsorship video for Realteam. I also got to work with Oakland Universities mascot, Grizz! I came up with the idea of Grizz dunking, including writing the script, producing, and filming the Athletics Sponsorship Video. I was super happy to be able to execute a different and exciting idea, something that continued the excitement from the game when they go to commercial. Oakland supplied the basketball footage included in the video, and I filmed and edited everything else. This commercial will see regional airtime on Oaklands basketball Games. We had Grizzly jump on a small trampoline (thank you Jenae for bringing the trampoline) for the dunking effect but his feet are huge! The shot turned out but ultimately in the edit, I decided other shots to tell the story and create the dunking effect. I has to improvise on some shots to make it look like Grizz has some serious UPs! I’m glad he was willing to get on the ladder and work with me. Thanks Grizz!
